What signs should I look for BV?

There are many signs that a woman may have BV however these could also be symptoms of another infection too. Just because you experience none of these symptoms does not mean that you do not have BV, some women with BV have no symptoms at all. As a good guide look for the following:

· Abnormal vaginal discharge with an unpleasant odor

· A strong fish-like odor, especially after sexual intercourse

· A white (milky) or gray and thin discharge.

· Burning when urinating

· Itching around the outside of the vagina, and irritation.
